Condor: 1/2 Of Passengers ‘Very Dissatisfied’
Taxpayers in Guernsey would be happy to subsidise Condor’s ferry services if it led to improvements.
That’s according to a poll by the Guernsey Condor Consumer Group, which heard from more than 1,200 people.
Nearly half of those surveyed say they are ‘very dissatisfied’ with the ferry operator’s service.

With exactly one week to go until islanders go to the polls to elect the next Senator, the deadline for registering to vote has passed.
It means that if your name is not on the electoral roll, you won’t have a say on who wins the seat vacated by Dr Zoe Cameron.
As the candidates prepare themselves for the final week of campaigning, the by-election hustings move to St Peter tonight.
The prospective politicians will be at the parish Community Centre from 7.30pm.

Man Arrested For Alleged Rape
A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
It follows an alleged sexual assault in St Helier over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Jersey Police say they have a 37 year old man in police custody.
He has been arrested on suspicion of rape after a woman was attacked in the early hours of Saturday morning.
She had been at a nightclub with friends and walked back to a property at Victoria Crescent with them.
On Tuesday, Police released CCTV of a man they had wanted to speak to. The force later said it had identified that person.
